Expansion update

Foundations are now being put in and our expansion project has begun. Bray & Slaughter are building the school extension and we look forward to them visiting us at our community assembly on 7th December. The new building will give Castle Mead school a total capacity of 420 primary age pupils. It is anticipated that pupil growth as a whole will be gradual, whilst there is significant demand for places in Key Stage 1. The new building will house a purpose-built nursery as well as a resource base provision for special educational needs. We look forward to seeing the new build take shape and to welcoming more pupils and their families soon.
