The Mead Academy Trust is delighted to announce that it is introducing the Thrive Approach across all of its settings.
The Thrive Approach draws on insights from neuroscience, attachment theory and child development to provide a powerful way of working with children and young people that supports optimal social and emotional development. In particular, the Approach equips practitioners to work in a targeted way with children and young people who have struggled with difficult life events to help them re-engage with life and learning.
Members of our Inclusion Team from all 3 schools are currently training in the Thrive Approach, and will be fully qualified Thrive Practitioners by the end of this academic year (July 2017).
You can read more about the Thrive Approach on their website.
